Workshop Program

Build real-world English fast with our EAL English Workshop Programs designed as short-term, intensive class sessions. Instruction includes interactive speaking, listening, practical tasks, weekly vocabulary, grammar in context, and creative projects.

Lesson Content

  • Interactive lessons with speaking and listening practice
  • Real-life tasks such as filling out forms, making phone calls, or writing a resume for a job application
  • Weekly vocabulary lists to support spelling, pronunciation, and grammar
  • Grammar in context: learn rules by using them in conversation and applying them in writing tasks
  • Creative projects like roleplays, dialogues, and short writing tasks

Our EAL Workshop Program is designed for:

  • Students needing test preparation for IELTS, PTE, and OET for visas and study applications
  • New arrivals learning English for the first time
  • Students preparing for work or study in English
  • All learners wanting to improve confidence and English fluency

Scheduling

  • Evening classes are available from 7-9 PM weekdays, with a recommended schedule of at least 2 hours once a week.
  • Flexible scheduling to be coordinated with Course Instructor.

Assessments

  • Informal entry assessment to be conducted prior to first session.
  • An initial English proficiency assessment is conducted with all students as part of their first lesson. Following initial assessments, students will be provided with the Student Book and Workbook to commence coursework.

  • These rates reflect our regular fees and apply to all term-based enrolments.

Fees & Invoicing

  • All fees are charged upfront on a term basis.
  • Payment methods include direct debit, credit card, BPAY
  • Invoices are issued prior to the first lesson.
  • An initial workbook will be supplied by Educate Tutoring at the commencement of enrolment. Purchase of additional workbooks may be required, dependent on student progress.
